And the moral of the story…

Due to strong, blustery winds in my neighbourhood this morning I was forced to put on a jacket and walk my dog on a lower route, which led me to find an injured parrot hobbling along the main road, and take off my jacket to use as a pouch for the bird in order to ferry it to the vet across the street. Lucky it was windy? Lucky the vet was nearby? No - lucky I was wearing a jacket or I would have had to take off my shirt.
