This episode of Parks & Rec was not good.
The writers need to stop fixating on their characters’ gimmicky personality traits (Ben is scared of cops - wah-ho, the comedy just writes itself!) and get back to telling stories. I know it’s easy to forget that Brendanawicz ever existed, but if you go back and watch the episodes where he was around, at least there was a grounding force in the show. Having all the characters dancing...

Breathing a sigh of relief this morning to learn that House [MD] has called it quits. I stopped watching it last year (far too late as it was), but I stand by the brilliance of the character and Hugh Laurie’s performance. I will be around on May 21 to see the end of it. Which hopefully involves Stephen Fry.
